Professional Experience

Ms. Canchola joined the Waterstone Development team in 2001 as the company's Project Manager. In this position she regulates approval of subdivision plats, construction plans, site plans, site plan corrections and revisions, and building permits through the City of Austin, the City of Round Rock, and the City of Georgetown. Ms. Canchola advises and assists in ordinance reviews and application approvals for zoning, platting, site plans, and Planned Unit Developments. In addition to overseeing the development of a project from due diligence to completion of the project, Ms. Canchola monitors and coordinates contractors, subcontractors, civil engineers, surveyors, land planners, and landscape architects, and various other consultants from beginning to completion of construction.

Prior to her work with Waterstone Development, Ms. Canchola worked as the Development Consultant for The Holford Group. As the Development Consultant, Ms. Canchola oversaw the processing of all development approvals, which included: submittal of zoning, subdivision, site development permits, and easement dedications/vacations to the various regulatory authorities. She prepared development analysis for raw land tracts to determine development rights, created due diligence reports, and provided land planning analysis to attorneys and appraisers in condemnation litigation. Ms. Canchola also produced reports for the City of Austin and Travis County to determine development suitability.
